My Exit Strategy
My exit strategy would consist of running the business while I'm here in Gainesville, and continuing to manage once I've started in my career. I hope for my venture to grow in the appropriate amount of time so that it will be a profitable sale. I would like to sell someday, because it would be a good gateway and learning experience when I get the chance again to run a business. When creating my product, I envision it to be very transparent and I hope to develop a strong software system thats so that it would be an easy transition for whoever buys the business.

Hey Gabrielle,
ReplyDeleteI also said I would like to sell my business. I like how you mentioned it would be a good gateway and learning experience. I completely agree with you on that. I probably wouldn't start another business after I sold my business but I think it is great that you would. I didn't think of the transition of owners but I think it is a good idea to make your idea transparent. Check out my blog here: http://feliciaent3003.blogspot.com/2016/04/my-exit-strategy.html
I also would like to sell the business at one pint, but only after I felt it could continue doing well once I left. Like yous said, the learning experience of it is a really value asset for future endeavors. If you are interested, I will leave a link to my blog post below.

Hey Gabrielle, I enjoyed reading your post. It seems like you have a good handle on what you want to do in the distant future. Like you, I would hope to continue the business even when I leave Gainesville but I don't think I would ever sell it. Perhaps I would let my kids run it only if they were truly passionate about it.
